b. Dyno statistics I found for Pitman's was great they had solid proof that modification did increase engine performance with replacing certain parts. My neighbor Alex was also great, when I talked to him I could tell he was very experienced I learned so many little things also because of the fact he worked for triple A t one point.

d. My mentor and I continued to work on the car because of its multiple engine problems. It was quite simple of what happened when we looked back at it. My mentor might have bitten of more that he could chew. Because he wanted the car to be compatible with a v-tech, so many things were going wrong. It was not as simple as replacing the top portion of the engine block. A new oil system was installed in order to handle the extra pressure. But when we blew a piston we were sure it was over. We were ready to switch yet another engine block but it seems that the engine is good and running.
This independent component has helped me because it shows what parts have to be replaced in order to have a engine with the best performance. A piston had to be replaced because it was pretty much useless. Also the oil pump was modified in order to handle the extra pressure. it was also interesting to see the components of an engine block. when we took out the piston of one of the old engine we decided to take apart the entire thing, to possibly sell part.
This is a crank shaft from a old engine (right under it) we decided to remove it just so I can see how you remove it and the components of an engine. It a lot heavier than it looks, its probably the second heaviest thing after the engine block itself.
This was the old engine prepped to take out its piston that we needed. It was actually interesting to install on the amount because the crane was occupied. We actually lifted it on the mount, it wasn't to heavy because we already took the top portion off, which is why the pistons are showing.
its supposed to look like oil but antifreeze got mixed with it. this engine was a mess.
